Document Description
The project consists of the reconstruction of berms immediately adjacent to an existing mining pit located along the western bank of the Whitewater River in Riverside County. The berms have recently undergone severe erosion during winter storms and require immediate reconstruction in order to prevent breaching and spillover into the mining pit. Reconstruction of the berms would not exceed the contours of the ordinary high water mark that existed prior to the storm damage.
