Document Description
Project involves the removal of 2-4 cubic yards of decomposed granite sediment. The accumulated sediments at the two toe drain outfalls, located immediately adjacent to the Buckhorn Dam Outlet works wingwalls, are preventing efficient discharge of water. This blockage compromises the safety of the dam. This one day project involves excavation by a rubber-tired backhoe and transport of excavated material to a spoil area. The spoil area is located in a naturally occuring shallow depression.
