Document Description
The purpose of the proposed project is to restore and enhance the habitat of the southern-most 3,000 feet of the Channel. The flora and fauna habitat along this portion of the Channel has been substantially degraded due to increased urbanization and changing land use patterns. The opportunity exists to restore habitat areas by modifying the Channel, increasing multi-layered indigenous vegetation cover, and increasing the amount and quality of riparian habitat.
