Document Description
The project is limited to the installation of a 4-inch polyethylene gas pipe under Elder Creek on the west shoulder of Elk Grove Florin Road using horizontal direction drilling (HDD). The gas line will be installed within an existing public utility easement using two 15-foot long by 4-foot wide bore holes on the north and south side of Elder Creek. The bore depth below Elder Creek will be approximately 9.5-feet. With HDD, no impacts are anticipated to Elder Creek, as the bore pits are located within upland areas and HDD methods can install the gas line below the bed of Elder Creek.
