Document Description
The project is limited to converting of 0.059 acre (1,693 linear feet) of existing roadside storm water conveyance ditch to a curb and gutter system as infrastructure for a larger residential development. During construction, existing topography will be leveled. Stormwater will continue to be conveyed along Elk Grove Florin Road via a new system. The curb and gutter will end at the property boundary, where flow will continue in an existing stormwater ditch along Elk Grove Florin Road. The transition will be protected by less than one (1) cubic yard of rip rap. As a component of the North Vineyard Station Specific Plan (NVSSP), the project will complete a portion of the Elder Creek channel improvement by installing a pipe outfall with track rack and guard rail will be installed within the Elder Creek channel. The outfall will consist of 36 linear feet of 24-inch standard diameter pipe to discharge flows from a newly constructed detention basin. The outfall apron will be approximately 11.5 feet wide with a 2.5 deep portion of rip rap, resulting in 0.023 acres of impacts to Elder Creek.
