Document Description
The Project consists of the construction of a new paved parking area totaling
approximately 35 acres within the boundaries of the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) located east of Airport
Boulevard between Crossfield Road to the north and Interstate 5 (I-5) to the south. The parking area will provide
approximately 450 free waiting parking spaces and approximately 2,757 economy parking spaces, will include lighting
and bus shelters, and will be provided access via Elkhorn Boulevard. The proposed parking lot area, location and
disposition is consistent with the 2020 Sacramento International Airport Master Plan Update approved by the
Sacramento County Board of Supervisors on February 16, 2022.
