The project site which located south of Tahoe City between Timberland Lane and Elizabeth Drive on SR 89 has been experiencing heavy use, which has resulted in degradation of water and vegetative resources. Caltrans is proposing various design enhancements to this site. These improvements will enhance safety, accessibility, and protect existing resources.
