Document Description
The RAW includes the following activities to remove soil contamination from the proposed high school #5 former Mortensen Property as follows:
Excavation of soil contaminated with Contaminants of Concern identified in the RAW;
Site restoration, which will include backfilling the excavation areas with clean soil (from an onsite source or through onsite grading operations). Backfill will be compacted in accordance with the requirements of the school district's construction specifications and geotechnical report; and
Offsite disposal of approximately 110 bank cy of contaminated soil to an appropriately-licensed disposal facility. The proposed RAW project includes the following mitigations measures incorporated from the EIRs and Addendum identified as follows: SCH # 2005081011.
