The La Mirada Redevelopment Agency is proposing the redevelopment of the Alondra Center North Retail Shopping Center into a 4.186-acre residential neighborhood that is currently developed with commercial uses. The proposed project will necessitate the acquisition of the 11 parcels and the demolition of the existing commercial uses. Project implementation includes the redevelopment of the subject property with 44 single-family detached residential dwelling units, which will range in size from 1,774, 2,066, and 2,289 square feet. Each home will be two stories and with attached two-car garages.
