This project proposes to improve safety by improving the geometry and sight distance of the curves and constructing shoulders with in the project limits. The project is located in Shasta County, on State Route (SR) 44 about 8 km east of Hat Creek on the Hat Creek Rim, from 1.0 km east to 2.7 km east of Plum Valley Road, Kiloposts (KP) 106.4 to 108.0; Postmiles (PM) 66.1 to 67.1.
