Document Description
Conversion of the existing York Theatre into a performing arts and cultural center containing a 250 seat live performance theatre, rehearsal spaces, and administrative offices. Interior remodeling proposed includes converting the existing mezzanine into rehearsal space of about 1,800 square feet and a second story addition above the existing storefront on 24th Street of approximately 3,500 square feet containing additional rehearsal space, classrooms and offices. Total seating for performances in the building would be reduced from the approximately 1,000 seats in the existing theatre to about 250.
