The Department will attempt to minimize the likelihood that Sierra Nevada Bighorn sheep (SNBS) contact domestic sheep by monitoring both SNBS and domestic sheep, and hazing SNBS away from domestic sheep to SNBS, Contingent on receiving federal take authorization, DFG may lethally take SNBS that have contacted domestic sheep.
