Certain Sacramento River Settlement Contractors will forbear the diversion of up to 15,000 acre-feet of Sacramento River water to which they are entitled for diversion and use further downstream which shall be used by the Bureau of Reclamation for CVP Project purposes including the delivery of a portion to Westlands Water District for beneficial crop water needs.

Westlands Water District has determined that this project is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15061 ("Review for Exemption"), of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines (14 California Code of Regulations § 15000, et seq.). In accordance with Guidelines section 15061(b)(3), Westlands has determined that this project will result in insignificant changes in operations of the CVP and the State Water Project, therefore, there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant affect on the environment.
