Document Description
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) proposes to change its water rights and correct the inadvertant omission of the OFWD service area through a change petition submitted to the SWRCB pursuant to Water Code Section 1700 et. seq. The proposed project will not change the operations of the SWP nor result in any changes in annual diversions through the SWP Banks Pumping Plant. The District was formed in 1964 for the purpose of obtaining an irrigation supply from the SWP operated by DWR. The District expanded to its current size of 4,015 acres by 1974. The District entered into a long-term water supply contract with DWR in 1965 for delivery of uo to 5,700 acre ft of SWP water per year. The initial year of deliver form SWP was 1968. There have been no changes in SWP water delivery.
