Document Description
Completion of the bridge on Hanna Drive over North Slough will provide access to the remainder of the Green Island Industrial Park, as well as complete the roadway link between Commerce Boulevard and Lombard Road. Without the bridge, the southern portion of this industrial park area is isolated from the City's street network. The City's Capital Improvement Program (CIP), 2004-2009, approved on February 3, 2005, included the Hanna Drive Bridge as item TR-015. The bridge over North Slough will include two 10-foot-wide travel lanes - one lane each direction - and a sidewalk on either side of the roadway. The project includes minor changes to Hanna Drive on the north side of North Slough and installation of the bridge. The city intends to designate Hanna Drive as a Class III bike route.
