Document Description
The CA Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Mr. Bruce Buel. The proposed Project would consist of conducting horizontal directional drilling activists under the bed of the Santa Maria River, commencing on the south side of the river and continuing to the north side. Surface telemetry electronic sensors would be placed on the surface of the river bed to determine the location of the drill head and line, and would be removed upon completion of Project activities. A pipeline to carry water would be placed in the directional drill hole. Equipment used will include directional drilling equipment operated outside the river bed, and no earth-disturbing equipment will be operated within the active river bed.
