Document Description
The Desert Alliance for Community Empowerment has secured funding for the construction of sewage collection and transport facilities to serve existing residences in the vicinity of Avenue 62 and east of the Coachella Valley Stormwater Channel near the community of Mecca, Riverside County. The proposed collection system would provide service to approximately 119 existing homes on 85+/- acres. This area is currently served by subsurface disposal facilities including septic tanks and leaching fields, and seepage pits.
