The Supplemental EIR describes new information and modifications to the 2005 EIR, to support future repairs and routine dewatering and inspections of the 17.8 mile Foothill Feeder, including: 1) potential incidental take of unarmored threespine stickleback (Gasterosteus aculeatus williamsoni) 2) an additional work site; 3) two additional generators and two submersible pumps; 4) potential for an unplanned shutdown requiring rapid pipeline dewatering; and 5) establishment of a UTS mitigation site per Fish and Game Code, section 2081.10 (a)-(g), and potential impacts associated with establishment of UTS mitigation.
