Document Description
The project will provide for the stabilization of the Tolay Creek levee and rebuild the levee slope back to its original dimensions for the protection of the road and parking lot situated on top of the levee. Additionally, the biodegradable geotextile fabric and hay bales will be used to dissipate high wind-wave action until the levee becomes vegetated.

The proposed project consists of shoreline stabilization along the western edge of a north-south levee and road that is the eastern edge of the Tolay Creek, a 52-acre open water impoundment. Tolay Creek is located adjacent to the Highway 37 (Sears Point Road) and just east of the Highway 121/37 split. The project site is in Sonoma County and bounded on the north by Highway 37; on the east by the DFG levee/road; on the south by levee/road; and on the west by a 52-acre, open water area (Tolay Creek).
