Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Class 6, 7; Sec 15306, 15307
Reasons for Exemption
Habitat Restoration by the Department falls under Class 7. In addition, an initial study indicated no sig. impacts will occur from these actions. Action also falls under Class 6, for experimental management. The only foreseeable impacts are a reduction of sediment, the least, in the project area, and at best, perhaps between sections that are treated. This project is an attempt to correct wildfire impacts.
