Document Description
Project includes a geophysical survey, drilling of up to eight soil borings, installation of three groundwater monitoring wells, and groundwater monitoring at 902 Anacapa Street in El Presidio de Santa Barbara State Historic Park to assess the presence, absence, or extent of contamination from potential Leaking Underground Fuel Tanks (LUFT) at a former Chevron gasoline service station site, as required by the County of Santa Barbara Protection Services Division (LUFT #90106). The site is currently used as a parking lot. All subsurface ground disturbance (soil boring) shall be monitored by a qualified historic archaeologist. A map of proposed boring locations shall be submitted to the archaeologist prior to any ground disturbance activity.
