Document Description
The City of Vacaville Public Works Department is proposing to widen an existing four lane arterial road, known as Elmira Road, to a six lane arterial road. Elmira Road will be widened approximately 50 feet on the north side of a section of road located east of Peabody Road and west of Allison Drive. The length of the widened section is approximately 0.6 miles. The project will also include the construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk, and raised medians; traffic signal modifications, installation of storm drain improvements along the north side of Elmira Road, street lighting, signing and striping, and landscaping/ irrigation within the raised medians.
