Document Description
Yuba County Water Agency (YCWA) began implementing the Yuba Accord in 2008. It is a comprehensive settlement resolving issues regarding instream flow requirements for the lower Yuba River, water transfers, conjunctive use of surface water and groundwater, and fisheries management. The environmental effects of the Yuba Accord were evaluated in an EIR, which was certified by YCWA in 2007 (SCH No. 2005062111). Although no substantial changes to the Yuba Accord Water Transfer Program are proposed by YCWA, its extension beyond December 31, 2025 requires analysis pursuant to CEQA. YCWA will prepare a supplemental EIR.
