The proposed project consists of: 1) The rezoning of 33 acres of an 81-acre parcel adjacent to the existing quarry property to add the Mineral Resource Combining District that would allow the mining of this property; 2) Approval of a Use Permit to allow mining 500,000 cubic yards (750,000 tons) per year for a 20-year period; 3) Approval of a Use Permit to allow timberland conversion; and a 4. Approval of a revised Reclamation Plan that directs how the site would be reclaimed at the end of the use permit.
