Construction on the vacant former UC Berkeley Extension Campus comprising most of the two blocks bounded by Laguna, Haight, Buchana and Hermann Streets of a mixed use development containing ~330 dwelling units, ~110 affordable senior dwelling units, ~12,000 sf of community facility space, and up to 4,999 occupied sf of neighborhood- serving retail space in a total of 10 buildings (seven newly constructed and three adaptively reused landmark structures). Two buildings (Middle Hall and Richardson Hall Administration Annex), the Laguna and Haight Streets retaining wall, and three surface parking lots would be demolished.
