The project is located in Sacramento County on US 50 from 27th Street in downtown Sacramento to Sunrise Boulevard. The project covers a distance of approximately 13 miles. Within the limits of the proposed project, the number of lanes in each direction varies from three to six. Lane widths are 12 feet, with 8 to 10 foot shoulders.
