Document Description
This Initial Study has been prepared to assess the potential for any significant environmental effects associated with the expansion of the Western Municipal Water District's Alessandro Pump Station Facility. The purpose of the proposed expansion is to increase pumping capacity at the District's Alessandro Pump Station. The project will entail expansion of an existing pump station building, the addition of two new 500 horsepower pumps with non-selective catalytic reduction (NSCR) technology for emission controls, removal of old pumping equipment, and the installation of approximately 650 feet of 36" water pipeline.
