Document Description
The proposed project involves construction of a 600-MW electrical simple cycle generating system (SCGS) at the existing HnGS. The proposed SCGS would include six natural gas-fired combustion turbines, at 100-MW each, associated cooling and pollution control systems, and other ancillary facilities. The new generation units would be deisgnated as Units 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16. The proposed project includes decommissioning two existing steam boiler generators (Units 5 and 6) that also have a total generating capacity of 600-MW.
