Document Description
A Site Development Permit for improvements to the Via de la Valle roadway between San Andres Drive and El Camino Real West. Currently, this existing segment of Via de la Valle is a 40-foot-wide, two-lane, undivided roadway. Project development would improve Via de la Valle between San Andres Drive and El Camino Real West to modified, four-lane major roadway. The curb-to-curb width would vary between 60 and 106 feet, depending on the need for turn lanes. The project also includes a traffic signal at Via del Canon, a pedestrian trail, bike lanes, retaining walls, landscaping, and right-of-way acquisition. The project site lies within the boundaries of Via de la Valle Community Plan area and the North City Future Urbanizing Area - Subarea II. The site is included on a Government Code listing of hazardous waste sites.
