The project also includes a traffic signal at Via del Canon, a pedestrian trail, bike lanes, retaining walls, landscaping, and right-of-way acquisition. The project site lies within the boundaries of Via de la Valle Community Plan area and the North City Future Urbanizing Area - Subarea II. The site is included on a Government Code listing of hazardous waste sites.
