Document Description
The City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is proposing to implement dust control measures on the dry Owens Lake playa in Inyo County, CA. The proposed project includes construction of 6.7 square miles of new shallow flooding and 0.14 square miles of gravel dust control measures, and rebuilding 4.4 square miles of the shallow flooding dust control measure in Zone 1 and the north part of Zone 2 on Owens Dry Lake. The proposed project also includes construction of an Operation Facility and discharging excess water outside the project site periodically during operations.
