Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is the drilling of a water well that will replace the existing north well contaminated with nitrate over State and Federal maximum contaminant levels. This replacement well will allow the water system to function with potable water when the remaining south well is inoperable. There is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment.
