The site is largely vacant and is planned and zoned for residential uses. An existing Tassajara Road culvert over Moller Creek exists just west of the site.
Document Description
The Project is the construction of a residential development that includes up to 381 single-family detached dwelling units, installation of associated utilities and infrastructure, grading to repair previous landslides in the Project area and to install subdrains, development of trails and parks, construction of a 36-inch diameter storm drain outfall at the Tassajara road culvert, and riparian planting and bank stabilization along the lower portion of Moller Creek. In addition, off-site activities include 8.0 acres of grading to conduct wetland enhancement and creation at the Cayetano Creek Preserve. The Project will result in 206.05 acres of permanent and temporary disturbance to upland grassland refugia habitat for two species listed as threatened under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA): California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) and San Joaquin kit fox (Vulpes macrotis mutica), and is expected to result in take of these species, as defined in Fish and Game Code section 86. To authorize such take, CDFW issued to the Project applicant, an incidental take permit pursuant to CESA (No. 2081-2012-041-03).
