The proposed project is the relocation of an existing bus depot at 2931 Mission to the ARK / Monarch School campus, located on Swift Street, where it will occupy the existing maintenance yard. The bus depot project will expand the existing maintenance yard into the unused field and existing ARK High School located to the south. The two existing portable maintenance buildings located at the existing maintenance yard will be removed and new pavement will be added. The new bus depot facility will include parking for approximately 45 school district vehicles, a welding shop, a carpentry shop, a maintenance yard office and storage facilities for school district landscape maintenance equipment such as mowers, tractors and blowers.
