- The subject property is located at 1090 Stagecoach Road in an unincorporated area of Humboldt County, approximately 1 mile north of the City of Trinidad. The Martin property is bordered by Stagecoach Road to the east, residential parcels to the north and south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The site includes ocean beaches, coastal bluffs, forested areas, and open fields. The 14-acre remainder parcel is currently developed with residential house and associated structures. Site topography varies considerably from relatively flat to greater than 30% in the Martin Creek ravine and on the coastal bluffs. Elevations on the property range from sea level to approximately 200 feet above mean sea level. Z: Rural Residential / Agricultural (5 acre minimum parcel size) with combined zonings of Geological Hazard Areas, Design Review Requirements, Offshore Rocks Areas, Stream and Riparian Areas (RA5G, D, OR). GP: Rural Residential (RRB) (Not certified) Trinidad Area Plan (TAP). Density: One dwelling unit per two acres.
