- Present Land Use
- Interim Rural Residential (I-R) / Suburban Residential (SR)
- Document Description
- A request to (1) amend the general plan land use designation from Suburban Residential (SR) to Commercial; and (2) a zone amendment from Interim Rural Residential (I-R) to the Planned Development (PD) district. The Planned Development District would authorize establishment of a mini-storage business with manager's quarters on an 8-acre parcel. Staff recommends a Planned Development (PD) district to be adopted rather than a Commercial Light-Industrial (C-M) district. The intent of the PD district is to allow the proposed mini-storage facility and prevent manufacturing and commercial uses incompatible with the surrounding development.
