The applicant is also requesting a corresponding change of zone from C-2 (General Commercial) to R-3 (High Density Residential Zoning) in order to bring the site's zoning into conformance with the proposed action will allow future construction of those uses permitted in the Medium High Density Residential designation of the General Plan and R-3 High Density Residential of the Zoning Code.
