Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-0064-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, The Newhall Land and Farming Company, LLC a California limited partnership by Five Point LLC.
The project involves the creation of two debris basins one in Middle Canyon and one in Magic Mountain Canyon. The area of the proposed debris basins is open space. The area is upstream and immediately adjacent to Mission Village Phase I project. The two debris basin are required because of the Mission Village Phase I project that is currently under construction. The purpose of the debris retaining inlets is to prevent water and soil from flowing into the construction and later developed site.
