- The purpose of the project is to improve traffic flow through the four-way stop intersection, which currently experiences severe backups during peak traffic periods. The intersection currently has single lane approaches from all directions, and the project proposes to widen the highway through the intersection and re-stripe lanes to create two lanes in each direction along SR 70.
