Document Description
The purpose of the Sunrise Isolation Pool Project is to determine the response of juvenile salmonids to connecting the pool to the main channel of the river at river flows below those that presently top the berm separating the pool from the river. Water presently overtops the berm at river flows exceeding approximately 4,000 cfs. The objective is to provide a six-inch deep channel between the river and the isolation pool when flows in the river are 1,500 cfs. This project involves experimental management and resource evaluation activities that do not result in a serious are major disturbance to an environmental resource.
