Document Description
1) To intercept, capture, treat (reduce non-point source pollution), and infiltrate (percolate) a maximum percentage of surface storm water runoff from a contributory, developed, offsite drainage of approximately 30 acres; 2) within the project area to create over 3/4 of an acre of riparian and wetland habitat, to enhance over 1/2 of an acre of existing, highly degraded wetlands associated with the margins of the Wilbur Avenue Debris Basin, to restore over four acres of valley oak savannah habitat, 3) slow the peak runoff flow into the Los Angeles River to improve flood management conditions all on lands owned by the City of Los Angeles or Los Angeles County.
