Document Description
The LAUSD proposes to construct a new middle school on the project site to provide relief to Nimitz and Gage Middle Schools. The project would provide approximately 1,585 total two-semester seats for grades 6-8. The site would accommodate a middle school of approximately 127,000 square feet of building space including 55 classrooms. In addition, the middle school would also include a gymnasium, multipurpose room, library, kitchen, administration offices, and a multi-purpose playfield. The site is currently occupied by residential and commercial uses.
