Document Description
The project consists of an exchange of 100,000 acre-feet of groundwater from the WKWD's groundwater bank account to the Rosedale-Rio Bravo Water Storage District (RRBWSD). In return, RRBWSD will deliver to WKWD a total of 33,333.33 acre-feet of surface water from sources available to the RRBWSD (one acre-foot for each three acre-feet transferred to RRBWSD from WKWD). The source of water returned to WKWD may be from the Kern River, Friant-Kern Canal, or the State Water Project.
