Document Description
The proposed project consists of the acquisition of the historic McConnell House. The house is located in the center of the historic gold rush town of Columbia, the historic district which is already owned and managed by State Parks. The project will transfer the ownership of the house and lot to the California Dept. of Parks and Recreation to ensure preservation of a historical resource and provide interpretive opportunities of California's Gold Rush Days.
