Document Description
Approval of a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation of those properties described as the Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center from various land use designations to I - Institutional. This General Plan Amendment will enable the phased replacement of the existing Oakland Medical Center with an expanded and improved medical center campus of approximately 1.78 million square feet on approximately 20.6 acres. The new Oakland Medical Center is expected to be completed by approximately year 2020.
