Document Description
This project proposes to construct erosion control improvements within the existing densely populated subdivision of Sierra Tract in South Lake Tahoe. Erosion control improvements include curb and gutter, an underground drainage system, infiltration trenches, infiltration basins for stormwater treatment, rock-lined and vegetated swales, sediment traps, concrete valley gutters, and revegetation of dirt shoulder areas. The improvements have been configured in a "treatment train" system to maximize storm water quality improvement and provide multiple layers of protection for receiving waters downstream of the project area.
