- Document Description
- The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) adopted an Addendum amending the Final IS/ND to renew this Standardized Hazardous Waste Facility Permit for AEI for ten additional years. Additionally, AEI has requested approval to reorganize operations at the facility within the existing AEI property, including the renaming of units, adding additional unit designations, minor modifications to existing berms, changing individual unit capacities consistent with operational changes, and administrative changes to permit type. New and redesignated container storage capacity will be added to slightly increase the maximum permitted storage capacity for the Facility from 536,360 to 562,332 gallons. New maximum treatment capacity of 500 empty containers rinsed per hour and 19 drums of used oil filter processed per hour will be to the Facility. No new or substantially more severe significant effects were identified during analyses of the changes to the permit.
