Document Description
The Goleta General Plan / Coastal Land Use Plan Housing Element contains policies that guide future housing development to meet the needs of all income groups and special needs groups in the City of Goleta. The City refers to this set of amendments to the Housing Element as "Track 1." Track 1 General Plan Amendments require an Addedum to the General Plan / Coastal Land Use Plan Final EIR adopted in October 2006. The update to the Housing Element is required under State Government Code 65588 and addresses the State allocated Regional Housing Needs Allocation.
