The LAUSD proposed to construct a new elementary school campus that would provide 875 two-semester seats for grades K-5. It would include 35 classrooms, a multi-purpose room, gymnasium, library, and administration offices. The western half of the proposed project site would be occupied by school buildings. The proposed project would relieve overcrowding at Pio Pico Span K-8 School and Mt. Vernon Middle School.
