The southern tip of Bancroft County Park abuts Kenwood Drive at St. James Place for a distance of approximately 80 feet. The improvements are primarily within the County right-of-way.
Document Description
The project is the construction of sidewalk and pavement to match existing improvements along Kenwood Drive in Spring Valley from Bancroft Drive to Helix Street. Construction of drainage improvements and modifications and improvements to the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Kenwood Drive and Bancroft Drive are also proposed. Currently there are sections of the roadway that have sidewalks that are set back, with unimproved sections in between. The project will acquire right-of-way to construct a continuous 5-foot wide sidewalk on both sides of the street. The project is to improve pedestrian access and safety, and will improve traffic circulation.
