Document Description
The proposed project involves the seismic retrofit of the Municipal Services Building (MSB). The seismic retrofit will be conducted using the "base isolation" method. Structural separation of the elevator lobby and plaza is required as part of the project to separate the building from grade. Modifications would occur at the plaza level, lower portions of the piloti, exterior stairs and elevator lobby. In addition to building and plaza modifications, changes to the existing landscaping around the plaza are also proposed.
